Unidad 1 Lesson: Subject Pronouns
Learning Objectives:
1. Students will be able to express where there are or are from.
2. Students will be able to ask about or describe others using personal pronouns
3. Review vocabulary learned earlier.
4. Learn to use the verb ser.
5. Learn new vocabulary for places and professions.
6. Be able to draw a chart with English and Spanish personal pronouns.
Action Steps
* Read the learning objectives above and familiarize yourself with what you will learn in this lesson. Watch the introductory teaser video. Review Unidad 1, pages 24 to 38. Read the review aloud.
* Look at the grammar lesson below and listen to the Pronoun Song as you follow along using the chart below.
* In the Discussion Board, first use "ser" to describe where you family members are from, it is ok to use pretend location in Spanish Speaking countries. Tell what your parents do professionally. Then describe two of your neighbors (vecino).
*In the Discussion Board ask three of your classmates about their family members or neighbors. Look for questions about your family or neighbors and answer their questions.
*Using your tablet computers, and the app "sound recorder" Read your discussion threads from above, then send me your recording by email.
* With your book and notes closed, make a pronoun chart from memory.
